Sunday Pizza evening cancelled

Just a quick note advising that due to our Mother’s Day luncheon at the club, the weekly Sunday Pizzas on the Terrace is cancelled this Sunday and will resume next Sunday.

 2024/25 Subscriptions

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank those members who have squared away their annual subscriptions for the 2024/25 membership year.

This week we sent members their April House Account statements and Annual Subscription statements, all members should have seen these in their inboxes. Most members have paid their subscriptions by now and this will be represented as nil balances in their subscription statement.

I wish to remind any member who hasn’t paid their subs to get in touch with us ASAP at the club to finalise your subscriptions for the year.

Our recent transition to new accounting and membership software has been a learning curve for the admin team, but we are beginning to see it’s benefits and feel that most of the teething issues are behind us. However we are experiencing some issues with the email settings from the within the system and are working with the provider to iron these out, in the meantime I sincerely appreciate all members patience as we resolve them.

If any member receives communications they feel is incorrect or doesn't apply to their specific situation, please get in touch with me at the club and I will attend to your concern.

House Accounts and Prize Credits

Members would have seen a message with their statements this week referring to the way competition prize winnings now integrate with transactions within the Club’s points-of-sale.

To reiterate, I’d like to provide the following advice;

1. The House Account statement will no longer display Members’ competition prize winnings.

2. All prize winnings now reside in the Member’s Prize Account. To view your Prize Account, visit the Green Acres website, log in, and go to the My Info page, and click My Accounts. The Prize Account is the  last tab on the right-hand side. This will show all your prize winnings and your current balance.

3. For every purchase/charge made at the Golf Centre and the Member’s Bar points-of-sale, the payment method for the purchase will automatically default to use credits from your Prize Account first, used either in full for payment or partially should the prize credit not be sufficient to cover the full amount of that purchase. The balance of the purchase can be paid by the usual options of choice – cash, EFTPOS, or your House Account.

4. Members can see all transactions using prize credits from their Prize Account, located as described in point 2 above. Details of each transaction are available by clicking the receipt icon for the relevant transaction. The same can be seen on your House Account statement for any part payment charged to your House Account
